ONI – NGWS – A10
The ONI – NGWS – A10 expands WAR Inc.’s Project ONI CUAS portfolio by delivering a fully integrated dual-effector system that combines the Apex rifle-mounted CUAS capability with the RS-10 rimless shotgun platform into a single AR-based solution. Designed for breaching, close-quarters battle, and short-range drone defeat within the 0–200 meter envelope, A10 provides operators with immediate access to both precision rifle effects and high-volume shotgun payloads without departing from standard AR manual-of-arms.
Powered by the 12 GA Auto rimless shotshell, the RS-10 component of the A10 achieves reliable, magazine-fed feeding and extraction while supporting mission-specific ammunition for urban and field environments. Urban CUAS loads deliver controlled, wide-pattern disruption optimized for safe engagements inside 0–50 meters, while field CUAS loads provide tighter, high-density patterns optimized for 50–200 meter standoff accuracy. The Apex component enables precise, directed CUAS engagement and supports rapid target discrimination and engagement across the shared aiming architecture.
A10 employs a common aiming and fire-control framework that unifies Apex and RS-10 employment, allowing seamless transitions between precision effects and shotgun payloads under a single sighting and tracking logic. This integration reduces operator workload and accelerates engagement timelines in dynamic, multi-threat environments.
The A10 further incorporates haptic-enabled C2 integrations that interface with supported command and control systems. These integrations provide non-visual, non-auditory directional cueing to the warfighter, indicating the bearing and priority of aerial or close-range targets. Through localized haptic feedback, operators are guided toward emerging threats while maintaining visual focus, weapon orientation, and situational awareness, enabling faster response in dense and contested operational spaces.
Within the broader ONI architecture, A10 functions as a dedicated close-range CUAS and breaching kill layer, pairing Apex precision with RS-10 volume effects in a single, modular system. By integrating dual effectors, shared aiming logic, and haptic C2 cueing, A10 strengthens Project ONI’s layered, distributed approach to counter-UAS operations and close-quarters defense with both lethal and non-lethal munitions.

ONI – NGWS – WAR25
The ONI – NGWS – WAR25 expands WAR Inc.’s Project ONI small-arms architecture by delivering an AR15-based fighting rifle that integrates the Apex rifle-mounted effector system to provide decisive effects against human personnel while retaining full close-range CUAS capability. Designed as a true dual-role platform, WAR25 preserves standard AR manual-of-arms while enabling rapid transitions between precision rifle fire and Apex-delivered payloads without weapon changes or operator workflow disruption.
Optimized for urban combat, complex terrain, and distributed operations, WAR25 supports conventional 5.56×45 and mission-appropriate intermediate calibers for controlled, discriminating engagements across the close to extended range envelope. The integrated Apex system shares a common aiming and fire-control architecture with ONI CUAS platforms, allowing operators to engage both human threats and small UAS using the same sighting, tracking, and employment logic. This unified aiming capability eliminates cognitive and mechanical friction when transitioning between personnel engagements and aerial threats.
WAR25 further incorporates haptic-enabled C2 integrations that connect directly to supported command and control systems. These interfaces provide the warfighter with non-visual, non-auditory directional cues indicating the bearing and priority of targets to be engaged. Through localized haptic feedback, operators are guided toward emerging threats while maintaining visual focus, weapon orientation, and situational awareness, enabling faster reaction times in cluttered, contested environments.
For personnel engagements, WAR25 emphasizes precision, controllability, and adaptability in close-quarters battle, structure clearing, and defensive operations. For CUAS missions, the platform provides rapid short-range aerial defeat using Apex-enabled effects, delivering immediate response to drone threats without requiring weapon or optic transitions.
Within the broader ONI architecture, WAR25 functions as a hybrid kinetic layer that bridges personnel engagement and CUAS roles into a single modular fighting system. By combining shared aiming systems, Apex integration, and haptic C2 cueing, WAR25 reinforces Project ONI’s layered, distributed approach to modern combat, delivering decisive flexibility across both human and aerial threat environments.

ONI – NGWSW – WM134
The ONI – NGCSW – WM134 is a networked, crew-served counter-UAS weapon system built around the M134 Minigun and designed to deliver sustained, high-volume kinetic defeat of small unmanned aerial systems across a 0–1,200-yard engagement envelope. Integrated into Project ONI’s Next Generation Crew-Served Weapons architecture, WM134 provides a rapid-response CUAS solution capable of engaging multiple aerial targets from point-blank range through extended standoff distances.
WM134 incorporates an automated aiming and tracking subsystem that fuses onboard sensors with external command and control inputs to generate continuous fire-control solutions against dynamic aerial threats. The system autonomously slews and stabilizes the weapon along azimuth and elevation axes, maintaining target lock and lead compensation during high-rate firing. This enables precise, sustained fires against maneuvering UAS while significantly reducing crew workload and reaction time.
The WM134 platform has undergone WAR Inc.’s proprietary cryogenic treatment and advanced surface coating processes, enhancing barrel life, wear resistance, and thermal stability under prolonged high-rate firing conditions. These treatments improve dimensional stability, reduce micro-fracturing, and extend service intervals, directly supporting sustained CUAS engagements where continuous fire and reliability are mission critical.
The system is optimized to employ dedicated CUAS ammunition engineered for aerial target defeat, providing consistent ballistic performance, predictable dispersion, and enhanced hit probability against small and maneuvering UAS. Ammunition selection is integrated into the fire-control solution, allowing engagement parameters to be tailored to threat type, range, and environmental conditions.
WM134 is fully integrated with ONI-compatible C2 networks, enabling cueing from radar, EO/IR sensors, acoustic detection, and distributed ISR nodes. Target data is processed in real time to prioritize threats, assign engagement windows, and provide automated or crew-authorized firing solutions. Operators retain positive control at all times, with selectable modes ranging from advisory cueing to assisted aim to automated tracking under defined rules of engagement.
The system further incorporates haptic C2 interfaces for the gunner and crew, providing non-visual, non-auditory directional and threat-priority cues. Through localized haptic feedback, operators are guided toward incoming aerial threats even under high noise, limited visibility, or cognitive saturation conditions, maintaining situational awareness without diverting attention from the weapon or airspace.

WM240 VARIANT COMMON ARCHITECTURE
The ONI – NGCSW family also includes the WM240 variant, which employs the same automated aiming, fire-control, C2, cryogenic treatment, advanced coatings, and CUAS-optimized ammunition architecture on a 7.62×51 mm crew-served platform. Like the WM134, WM240 operates across the full 0–1,200 yard engagement envelope, providing a complementary balance of precision, sustained fire, and logistical flexibility while remaining fully interoperable with ONI sensor networks and haptic cueing systems.
Within the broader Project ONI architecture, the WM134 and WM240 function as complementary high-capacity CUAS suppression layers optimized for base defense, convoy protection, maritime security, and fixed or semi-fixed installations. By combining automated aiming, cryogenic enhancement, advanced coatings, CUAS-optimized ammunition, and networked C2 integration across multiple weapon platforms, the ONI – NGCSW family delivers a durable, scalable, and decisive crew-served solution for modern counter-UAS operations.
