Ghosts of WAR
Project ONI (Ordnance Nexus Initiative) is WAR Inc.’s integrated framework for Next Generation Munitions (NGM), Next Generation Weapon Systems (NGWS), and sovereign defense manufacturing, designed to unify design authority, production, and system integration into a single operational ecosystem for U.S. and allied partners. Project ONI aligns advanced ordnance development, energetics, cryogenic enhancement, electro-optics, automated and advanced manufacturing, and secure communications to accelerate delivery while improving performance, durability, and operational relevance across modern threat environments.
Through Project ONI, WAR Inc. coordinates a vetted network of industry leaders, innovators, and solution providers who contribute specialized capabilities across ordnance design, advanced materials, cyber resilience, government engagement, and critical infrastructure development. This partner ecosystem ensures that both physical systems and the data, communications, and command architectures that enable them are secure, resilient, and protected against emerging global threats.
Project ONI functions as the connective architecture linking NGM and NGWS programs with networked command and control, layered counter-UAS and personnel engagement systems, and scalable production capacity. By maintaining common architectures, shared standards, and integrated C2 and manufacturing workflows, ONI enables rapid scaling, reduced friction between development and production, and consistent operational performance across platforms and domains.
Embedded within Project ONI is the ONI Centers program, a distributed defense manufacturing and innovation construct designed to strengthen supply chain resilience and security. ONI Centers are synergistically aligned business and production hubs that co-locate critical capabilities to reduce logistics burden, shorten supply lines, and minimize dependency on vulnerable external suppliers. These centers are structured to bolster supply chain security, support Defense Logistics Agency initiatives, and deliver repeatable, scalable manufacturing capacity that can be replicated across allied nations.
Operating as interconnected nodes within the broader ONI ecosystem, ONI Centers compound deep innovation by enabling rapid collaboration, iterative development, and accelerated transition from design to production. Together, Project ONI and ONI Centers provide a sovereign, secure, and scalable defense industrial framework that delivers readiness at speed while reinforcing the long-term strength of the U.S. and allied defense manufacturing base.

We support our Nations allies with our robust infrastructure of teams and materials wherever there is a need we can fill. We have worked with the Philippines, Ukraine, Poland, Nigeria, Sudan and many others. Direct support is our main goal.
Ghosts of WAR is a warfighter-driven knowledge and ethos preservation initiative designed to ensure that hard-won experience from modern conflict is not lost to time, bureaucracy, or institutional drift. Through secured footholds in strategically relevant locations, Ghosts of WAR creates trusted environments where lessons learned at the zero line—the front lines of contested, denied, and degraded battlespaces—are captured directly from those who fought there.
The program exists to transfer critical, experience-based knowledge from recent wars, conflicts, and close-contact engagements to the next generation of warfighters. This includes tactical realities, decision-making under fire, survivability insights, operational tradecraft, and the human factors of combat that are rarely documented but decisively shape outcomes.
In addition, Ghosts of WAR operates as a specialized range and evaluation environment purpose-built for bleeding-edge technologies. It provides select innovators the ability to test, demonstrate, and refine systems, programs, and products with real end users—not simulated feedback or theoretical validation. Technologies are evaluated by experienced operators with recent zero-line exposure, generating candid after-action reports, operational feedback, and failure data that cannot be replicated in laboratories or permissive training environments.
Where appropriate and authorized, Ghosts of WAR enables promising capabilities to transition beyond controlled testing and be employed at the zero line, producing real-world, battle-tested AARs under contested conditions. This closes the gap between development and reality, ensuring that emerging technologies are shaped by the demands of modern warfare rather than assumptions made far from the fight.
Beyond technical validation, Ghosts of WAR is focused on preserving and reinforcing the warrior ethos—discipline, accountability, adaptability, and sacrifice—ensuring that the cost paid in blood, time, and loss yields enduring value. By institutionalizing lived experience and directly connecting it to future capability development, Ghosts of WAR ensures that the sacrifices of today’s warfighters strengthen the readiness, mindset, and effectiveness of those who will fight tomorrow.
